The Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario (SB&H) is very pleased to show our support for the Alexandris family in organizing the 6th Annual “Ride for Jacob” which is taking place on Aug. 22.
Riders to meet at the Alexandris home (5464 Wellington Road 26) on Aug. 22 at 12:30pm.
Riders leave at 1pm to enjoy approximately a 200km ride through the countryside.
The ride usually lasts about four hours and returns to the Alexandris home. Riders are then welcome to join the family for a free potluck meal including a wonderful pig roast.
Doreen Alexandris said, “We only ask for a donation to the SB&H on the day of the event. ”
Donations are collected on the day in cash or cheque, there is also have a giving page on the SB&H website as the support letter indicates and those wanting to donate electronically can do so from there.
“Our event is our way of giving back and healing our hearts from the tragedy of losing our son. We have learned how important family is and to enjoy every moment with each other.”
