Ribfest proceeds benefit Cancer Patient Services
Ribfest donation – Christine Rivet, left, of Git Yer Hillbilly On Ribfest, presents a cheque for $500 to Cancer Patient Services president Rosemary Tanner. The Mount Forest Ribfest has raised more than $12,000 for local health care and minor sports through the years. The annual event, which returns on July 13, honours the memory of local volunteer Bill Walker who died of cancer in 2017.
