Proclamation planned for Fergus, Elora
The Centre Wellington branch of the Canadian Bible Society is hosting a three-day proclamation in Fergus and Elora from Oct. 27 to 29.
The Centre Wellington branch of the Canadian Bible Society has been operating in Fergus for over 40 years.
A proclamation is a public reading of the Bible. This is a cooperative effort of the Canadian Bible Society and local churches.
This year’s proclamation will include reading of Psalms and the New Testament:
- Oct. 27, 7am to 7:35pm at the Wellington Terrace, 474 Wellington Road 18, Aboyne;
- Oct. 28, 9am to 8:40pm at Highland Manor, 110 Belsyde Avenue East, Fergus; and
- Oct. 29, 12:30 to 7pm at St. Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church, 267 Geddes Street, Elora.
