Police looking for suspects following shoplifting incident

FERGUS – Police are looking for help to identify three persons of interest in connection with a recent shoplifting incident. Wellington County OPP officials say police received a theft call at Giant Tiger on Tower Street South in Fergus on May 9 at about 4:15pm.

“Three suspects entered the store, concealed approximately $700 worth of food and clothing, and left the store without attempting to pay,” police stated in a press release.

Police say they want to identify three suspects:

– a woman about 50 years old, 5’7” with an average build, black hair and black dress with head covering; and

– two other women, both in their early 20s, 5’5” with average builds and long black hair, and wearing black dresses.
