Police investigating homicide after body found in motel

GUELPH – The Guelph Police Service is investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead last weekend.

Just before 11am on Oct. 15, emergency services were called to a motel on Woodlawn Road West near Woolwich Street. Police say a woman in her 50s was found deceased.

“As a result of a post-mortem examination the death was determined to be a homicide,” police stated in a press release.
