OPP report death in Erin following violent storm
ERIN - West Region OPP are reporting a death in Erin in an incident during last night's storm.
West Region police tweeted on Aug. 28 that Wellington OPP, Erin firefighters and Guelph Wellington EMS responded about 6:10 pm to a report of an injured person on a golf course in Erin during a violent storm.
The person was later pronounced deceased.
Police report Hydro One attended the scene due to downed trees and wires.
The investigation is ongoing.
