Woods, Elva Maye; Peacefully on Tuesday May 10, 2011 at the Wellington Terrace, surrounded by her family. Elva Maye (Potter) Woods in her 93rd year, formerly of Belwood. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Woods (1999). Loving mother of Myrna and her husband Rendall Bilton of Belwood and Wanda Turner of Belwood. Dearest grandmother of Heather, Dianne, Susan, Gaye, Mardell, Renée and Mark. Lovingly survived by twenty great-grandchildren. Elva is survived by her three dear sisters Ruth Gooding, Mary Fair and Shirley Lostracco. Elva will also be remembered by a number of nieces, nephews and other family. Predeceased by her son-in-law Barry Turner (2002) and five sisters. Visitation at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus, Ontario, on Thursday, May 12th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held for Elva in the funeral home chapel on Friday, May 13th at 10:30am. Memorial donations can be made to the St. John’s United Church Building Fund, Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice, cards available at the funeral home.
