Vance, Alicia; Peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Ross Vance (1969). Dear mother of Ross of Alma, Marilyn (Glenn) Mckee of Arthur, Sharon (Ron) Schmidt of Mt. Forest, Edith Beer of Arthur, Linda Vance of Arthur, Bonnie (Don) Campbell of Arthur, Alice (Nick) Murray of Belwood, Brenda Moore of Arthur and Sandra (Kevin) Dunlop of Cambridge. Loving grandma of twenty-four grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren. Survived by sister-in-law Helen Wilson of Gravenhurst. Predeceased by son Robert Vance, grandson Jody Beer, daughter-in-law Doris Vance, sons-in-law Earle Beer, Tom Moore and Bill Gibson. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St., Arthur on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Parish prayers were said in the funeral home on Thursday evening at 6:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial was held from St. John R.C. Church, 131 Georgina St., Arthur on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 10:30am. Father Edward Hinsperger celebrant. Interment St. John Cemetery, Arthur followed.
