Reid, Winifred; Winnie Reid returned to God on June 25, 2011, she spent 83 years with us and was ready to finally go home. Winnie died at Groves Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Sadly missed by her children Heather (Jake) and Tom, predeceased by her daughter Winnie (1974). Loving Furfie to grandchildren, Matthew (Shannon), Luke (Heather), Jessie (Daniel), Craig (Melissa) and Rebekah. Lovingly remembered by her great grandchildren, Jack, Macy, Quinn and Isabella. Winnie is survived by her brother Ian. Predeceased by her sister Catherine and brother Jim. Special thanks to the staff at Groves Memorial Hospital, CCAC and the Upper Grand Family Health Team for their compassion and excellent care. A funeral Mass was held at St. Mary the Immaculate Roman Catholic Church, Elora on Wednesday, June 29th at 11am. Anyone who was touched by our mother knew of her unending generosity. She supported many charities, and always looked to do more. In lieu of flowers, donations to PAN Missions Canada, solar water project would be appreciated.
