Pounder,Wallace Lesly; It is with great sadness that the family of Wallace Lesly Pounder announces his passing on March 7th, 2012 in his 89th year after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Wallace leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 60 years, Nellie. He was the adored father and hero of Doreen (Ted), Evelyn (Tom), Helen and Bonny. Wallace was the much loved grandfather and friend of Tammy, Shawn, Melissa, Matthew, Travis, Brandon, Justin and Jessica. He also leaves an enduring legacy of love to his great grandchildren for whom he was a frequent playmate: Dyllan, Kirsti, Jessica, Brooke, Victoria, Isabelle and Chase. Wallace was a veteran of the Second World War. He is predeceased by his beloved brother Henry. A special thanks to Dr. Sugamori and the Bayshore nurses for their excellent care.
