Oxby, Jewell Marie R.N.; passed away unexpectedly at her home in Downsview on Friday, November 13, 2009, in her 68th year. Beloved sister of Jim and Bonnie Oxby of Rothsay. Predeceased by her parents Ralph and Elsie (Stinson) Oxby, her sister Doris Wooddisse (2006) and brother-in-law Keith Wooddisse (2002). Loving Aunt of David Wooddisse, Ron and Mary Ellen Wooddisse, Donna and David Whittaker, Paul and Jo-Anne Wooddisse, Janet Wooddisse, Arlene and Claude Heroux and Richard and Janette Wooddisse; Christine and Doug Fotheringham, Kim Oxby, Gary and Debbie Oxby and Murray Oxby and Eleanor Whyte as well as 22 great nieces and nephews and 5 great-great nieces and nephews. Jewell was a nurse at Humber Memorial Hospital in Downsview for over 30 years prior to her retirement. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston, on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 7-9pm. Rev. Jeff McCracken conducted the Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 2pm. Interment Derryadd Cemetery.
