McGonegal, Darwin (1928-2010); Resident of Elora, Ontario, formerly of Perretton, Ontario and retired employee of Guelph Correctional Centre. After a brief illness at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, Ontario on March 30, 2010. Survived by his beloved wife June of sixty years. Darwin is also survived by his daughters Jan (Bob) Muir, Kate (Lyman) Smith, Colleen, Bonnie (Dan) Martin, and sons Rod and Carm, and by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Merrill (Jean), Des (Edna) and sister-in-law Barb. Predeceased by brother Noble and sisters Eileen Fletcher, Pansy Robertson and granddaughter Carolyn Muir. Friends were received at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St, Elora on Friday, April 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A private family service took place on Saturday, April 3rd.
