Hall, Elwood George; Served with the Canadian Army from 1942 to 1945. Served on County Council as well as Peel-Mapleton as a Councillor, Deputy Reeve, Reeve and on the Roads Committee. Also served on the Groves Hospital Board, the Wellington Dufferin Board of Health and as director of the Drayton Terrace. Following a brief illness on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Groves Hospital in Fergus, Elwood Hall in his 91st year of Alma. Beloved husband of the late Vera Hall (Wood) May 2008. Loving father of Barb and Jo-Anne. Dear brother-in-law of Jean Hall and survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Loved brother of the late Ethel Flewelling (Harold), Harold (Phyllis), Martha Richardson (Bob) and Jim. The family received their friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, from 7-9pm on Tuesday, August 3, 2010.
