Sons of Scott Gray, Vancouver and Angela Gray (Kalashnikov) Fergus, Ontario. Lost together in a swimming accident at “Secret Beach” Toronto on Sunday, August 5th. They touched many lives as the truest of brothers and generous, talented, caring young men full of life and dreams—and live on through their transplant donations to four recipients. Colin and Keith were devoted, loving uncles to Dresden Vienna Jade. Continuously recognized and loved by brother Ryan and his many supportive friends including Caleb, Cody and Slater. Never forgotten by Colin’s friends Derrick, Tom and Phil, and Keith’s friends Caleb and Logan. Much loved by aunts Anne Diduch (Gray) and Ella Reynolds (Kalashnikov) who contributed so much to their lives; uncles Alec and Dave Kalashnikov, Sonny Diduch, Mike Reynolds and grandfather Fred Kalashnikov. We are forever grateful for the caring support of Colleen Linseman and Sussanne Hardy, close family friends Leon Rooyakkers, Elisabeth Easterbrook, Jean Verhoeven and extended family in Fergus, Toronto and Vancouver. Heartfelt appreciation to Chalene Duby for selflessly organizing the candlelight vigil and fundraiser for Keith and Colin, and to the people and town of Fergus for donations, assistance with the memorial event — attended by countless friends — held on August 10, and the extraordinary support we have received amidst this tragic loss for so many. Donations to assist the Gray family, and to create a lasting local testament to the brothers, can be made to the “Ryan Gray and Brothers’ Memorial Trust” at any TD Canada Trust. A BBQ gathering and fundraiser will be held at The Door in Fergus on Sunday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m.
