Eveleigh, Louise Ethel – On January 9th, 2013 at her home at Highland Manor, Fergus at the age of 102 years. Predeceased by her husband Earl (1991). Will be missed by her children Shirley (Clifford) Balkwill, and Barry (Norma) Eveleigh. Remembered by her grandchildren Patricia, Mark, Marilyn, Heather, Donna, Jacqualine and Samantha as well as Great grandchildren Tyler, Trevor, Eric, Ben, Rachel, Shane, Danielle, Jordan, Avery, Alyssa, Mallory and Claire, and mother in law of Lois Eveleigh. Louise will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Joe Eveleigh and sisters Edna Francis, Jean White and Dorothy Bannerman, as well as brothers Earl, Mac and Forbes McFarlane. Louise farmed with her husband in the Belwood area for many years and she was a long time member of St. John’s United Church, Belwood, as well as a member of the Brighton Chapter of the Eastern Star, the Belwood Women’s Institute and the Fergus Curling Club. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Monday, January 14th, 2013 from 1:00 – 2:00pm. There was an Eastern Star service for Louise at 12:45pm. A Memorial Service followed the visitation in the funeral home chapel at 2:00pm.
