Cole, Percy John; Died January 27, 2012, after 80 full years. He can be defined by the roles he played in life. SON to the late John Thomas and Alice May Cole, of Bedford, England, BROTHER to Alex Cole and Sid Bowler (d), HUSBAND to Kathleen Mary (Sullivan), deceased, and Beverley Phyllis (Legg), FATHER to Janet Kierdorf (Rolf), Jacqueline Brisley (Michael) and James (Katya), GRANDFATHER to Dmitri and Anisia, STEPFATHER to Thomas (Suzanne), Cameron, and Scott (Tina) Henderson. He was also defined by his contributions, as a PHARMACIST, dealing in knowledge, kindness and care for over 50 years, as co-owner of Stewarts Drug Stores in Guelph, and later as locum in other Guelph pharmacies, as a ROTARIAN, serving his local, and world community, as a VOLUNTEER, with the Elora Festival, St. Johns Church in Elora, several agencies during his winters in Naples Florida, and his contributions as volunteer and MISSIONARY, travelling with Missionary Ventures to Guatemala, Dominican Republic and for Rotary to The Cameroons. He received the Order of Niagara in recognition of his charitable work, and is the recipient of the Paul Harris Award from Rotary. He felt he had received many gifts throughout his lifetime, and wanted to give back what he could. His generosity of spirit touched many, and he will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 36 Henderson St,(corner of Smith & Henderson), Elora.
