Alles, John David; suddenly on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at his home in Elora, at the age of 50. Beloved husband and best friend of Debbie. Forever remembered and missed by sons Mike and Brad (his friend Becky). Will be sadly missed by his mother Judy and her friend Bill Porter and mother and father-in-law Mike and Mabel Gordon. John was predeceased by his father Cameron (2003). Loving brother of Kim Collison and her friend Mark and Debbie (David) Dyson and brother in-law of Brian (Shelley) Gordon. Loving uncle of John, Jennifer, Kristen, Derek, Shawn, Phil and Kristina. John will be dearly missed by many other family and friends. A longtime volunteer firefighter in Elora for over 25 years, where he served as Captain. John was an active member of baseball, hockey and horseshoe teams. John was an amazing husband, father, son, son-in-law, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by many. Visitation was held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus, Ontario, on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 1-4pm and 6-9pm. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11am at the Elora Road Christian Fellowship, 5696 Wellington Rd 7, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
