The Wellington Catholic District School Board appointed Michael Glazier as superintendent of education, effective, August 17.
Glazier has served as acting superintendent of education and principal with the London District Catholic School Board. His portfolio as acting superintendent included supervision of early learning kindergarten program initiatives, leading student achievement, managing information for student achievement, as well as leadership of a family of schools.
Glazier was actively involved in the development of the LDCSB’s school improvement planning tools as well as the board’s improvement plan.
Glazier has experience teaching in both, elementary and secondary panels and was a curriculum support teacher for science and technology.
Glazier is an active member of his parish family serving as a eucharistic minister and supporting youth ministry initiatives.
Glazier also serves on the board of directors for the St. Leonard Society, the London District Catholic School Board catholicity and communications committee and is a member of the London family centred service system governance committee.
