Marino Gazzola begins 14th year as WCDSB chair

Trustees with the Wellington Catholic District School Board selected their chair and vice chair for the coming year at the board’s inaugural meeting on Dec. 5.

Returning as chair is Marino Gazzola for his 14th year as the senior elected official for the Wellington Catholic District School Board. Marino has served as a trustee since 1990.

“Our Catholic schools have a long tradition of excellence and service and are vibrant places of learning and formation,” Gazzola said.

“I am deeply honoured to be able to continue to serve as chair in support of Catholic education in Guelph and Wellington County and in the entire province.”

Sebastian DalBo was selected as vice chair.

“Student achievement, well-being and innovative programming are priorities for our system, and I am committed to working with my fellow trustees to ensure success for all,” DalBo said.
