The Stress Management and High Performance Clinic is offering a wide variety of programs this winter.
The Relaxation and Stress Management Skills Training begins on Jan. 26.
Two types of biofeedback will be included in this program for those who experience stress responses of muscle tension, anxiety, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, headaches, increased blood pressure, worrying, panic attacks, loss of focus or decreased performance.
A variety of research-based relaxation and stress management techniques that improve health and performance are taught in this 12 session program.
There is a noon hour program and a 5:30 to 6:30pm program and the fee is $120.
A Better Sleep Program begins on Jan. 29. A special workshop for peri-menopausal women with poor sleep is scheduled for Feb. 10.
All of these events are held at the University of Guelph.
