Local photo artist Annette Twist is hosting an exhibit and sale of her photographic art in her garden near Exhibition Park this weekend.
The event will be held on June 18 and 19, from 10am to 5pm, rain or shine, at 102 Kathleen Street in Guelph.
Held in partnership with Focus on Nature, a portion of the proceeds will go to support its nature photography program in schools.
Focus on Nature (www.focusonnature.ca) is a Guelph-based non-profit corporation that delivers an innovative school program that inspires children to connect with the natural world through photography, while enhancing their creativity and self-esteem.
With professionally-trained volunteers, Focus on Nature conducts over 70 full-day workshops in local classrooms each year.
Open to the public, everyone is welcome to drop by to view and purchase Twist’s unique photo art, and enjoy her English-style garden which will be at its blooming best.
