Lions Club presents cheque to Groves hospital
Donation - The Fergus Lions Club presented Groves Memorial Community Hospital with a cheque for $6,000 on Feb. 14 for the hospital to purchase a new halo-bassinet swivel sleeper for newborn babies. The unit is used to allow new mothers to comfort and care for the newborn from their bedside – the bassinet swivels over the bed, and is very helpful for mothers who delivered by C-section as they can remain in bed comfortably, and attend to the needs of the baby. Pictured from left are executive director of the Groves Hospital Foundation Lori Arsenault, Lions president Margaret Murray and treasurer Michael Fleming. Submitted photo
