Lions Club presents cheque to Groves hospital

Donation – The Fergus Lions Club presented Groves Memorial Community Hospital with a cheque for $6,000 on Feb. 14 for the hospital to purchase a new halo-bassinet swivel sleeper for newborn babies. The unit is used to allow new mothers to comfort and care for the newborn from their bedside – the bassinet swivels over the bed, and is very helpful for mothers who delivered by C-section as they can remain in bed comfortably, and attend to the needs of the baby.
