Volunteering

Dear Editor:

I have lived in Erin for about 25 years and found it a very  enjoyable experience. For the first 20 years, my late wife and I volunteered our time at the East Wellington Advisory Group and then branched out  into other ventures – service clubs like the Lions, Rotary, Optimists, BIA, the fall fair are just a few of the many joys of living in Erin.

When you are able to, please donate some of your spare time as a volunteer – you will not only get satisfaction, you will be adding to the everyday activities.

Erin is no different to some other communities; just like eating a big meal, one sometimes get hickups, we have them now, but if we all tried to solve the problem instead of complaining, then Erin will return to normalcy.

During our time at Erin, we made many friends and discovered a lot of fine people.

Charles Lewis,
