Once again, EFS volunteers thank the community for supporting the 2019 Annual Elora Festival and Singers Book Sale May 3 to 5 at the Elora Curling Club. Our fundraiser broke all previous records!
If you want reassurance that reading is still popular, a book sale provides it. In 2019, readers donated over 60,000 books, CDs, DVDs, LPs, and games, leaving them in the shed at the EFS Book Depot, 380 St. Andrew St. W., Fergus (side entrance). Thanks for all these generous donations.
We also thank these local organizations and individuals who make the sale possible: the Elora Curling Club; De Boer’s Farm Equipment; Bank & Vogue; Vanier Centre in Milton; Portage Academy; Gerald Benham; Wellington Advertiser; St. John’s Ambulance; Elora LCBO; Centre Wellington Food Bank; Kitras Art Glass.
We hope to see everyone again next year on May 1, 2 and 3. Your participation supports the Elora Festival and Singers and brings thousands of enthusiastic visitors to Elora on the first weekend in May each year.
