Dear Editor:
Well now that winter is officially over, I would like to send out a big thank you. As a local snowmobiler, I am extremely grateful to all farmers and landowners, both in Centre Wellington and surrounding areas, who have allowed access to their land for snowmobiling. This year especially, in light of the conflict between the local snowmobiler club and the GRCA, it was very advantageous to all “sledders” to have access to this land. It allowed us to be able to get out into the great outdoors, view nature and continue doing something we love.
I always do my best to stay on the trails and apologize profusely for those who choose to disregard the markers and prohibitive signs. Looking forward to taking advantage of your generosity and hospitality next year…snow willing!
