‘Now lie in it’

Remember the commercial about the indigenous man in the canoe paddling through pollution with smoke stacks in the distance – then the silence while a tear rolled down his cheek? That was about 50 years ago I believe.

Everybody in their big cars, big houses full of computers, and other toys all over the place, etc. – you have a massive carbon footprint.

I grew up with people like David Suzuki and protested as well – but you’re still doing it, aren’t you? The boat has sailed. As my mother used to say, “You made your bed – now lie in it.”
