The Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command is introducing the fifth annual Military Service Recognition Book.

The fourth book was recently published and is available at local legions or on the Legion website.

The books serve as a reminder for generation to come of the contributions make towards the creation of this nation and continuance of Canada as a protector of freedom, state officials.

It also assists the Legion on identifying and recognizing veterans within Ontario, while at the same time allows the Legion to be “keepers of remembrance.”

Officials are asking anyone who would like to share their story to visit a local legion to obtain more information on how to submit stories.

“Recognition of our veterans both past and present should be important to us all; help us give our Veterans the recognition they deserve,” stated officials in a press release.

The fifth book is scheduled to be published in October 2018.
