Lakeside Living home tour on June 22

PUSLINCH LAKE – It is often stated there’s no place like home and this year’s Lakeside Living home tour is no exception.

Held annually each June, event organizers say the tour which raises fund for the Puslinch Lake Conservation Association remains the largest and most famous event of the lake.

Those taking part in the June 22 tour can visit five beautiful homes by car or by boat to experience a more intimate side of Puslinch Lake.

Running from 10am to 4pm, the PLCA Home Tour takes about 2.5 hours by boat to comfortably visit each home on the tour.

Participants may arrive anytime up to 2pm – there is no requirement to arrive at 10am.

Boat departures will leave regularly from two departure points: Old Marina Restaurant  and McCormick’ Point (Concession #1).

Tickets can be purchased at the following locations: Accents For Living, Book Express, Cinderella Beauty Salon, Creme Cafe, Framing and Art, Old Marina Restaurant and The Oak Barrel.

Participants are reminded not to drink, smoke or take photographs inside the homes.

Those taking part will also be asked to remove and carry footwear.

Boats will continue to be available for the tour during light rain or wind.

In case of extreme wind or heavy rain, the tour is still available using your vehicle only.

Tickets

Tickets are $30 per person. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

One hundred percent of all money raised from the home tour goes toward the on-going restoration of Puslinch Lake.
