Rising house prices across Ontario have now made their way to Guelph, making the average price of a home a reported $475,717.
As a result, may potential homeowners are being priced out of the market.

To prioritize the success of families and individuals, and ultimately, the future of Guelph, Habitat for Humanity WDG is developing Cityview Village – an integrated community comprised of three stone-and-brick buildings, all with energy efficient designs and features.
Each three-story building will contain 8 to 12 ownership condominium units (one, two and three bedroom suites), offering affordable homeownership to families, older adults, and individuals with disabilities in the community.
“The foundation that affordable homeownership provides brings stability and strength to families and individuals, promoting a greater connection with their city, directly impacting to our communal social well-being,” said Howard.

Located at 11 Cityview Drive South in Guelph, the development’s includes a natural environment with trees, a storm water pond and a newly established biking/walking trail, helping to create an overall community feel that promotes both activity and sustainability.
