The Guelph Wish Fund for Children (GWFC) presented two cheques totalling $20,000 to both hospitals of North Wellington Health Care.
On Feb. 25, GWFC presented $10,000 to support pediatric care at Louise Marshall Hospital (LMH).
The funds will be put towards a new ear, nose and throat microscope. Visiting specialists can use the tool to help in diagnosis for children’s health.
Area children will no longer have to go to city hospitals to have this testing done.
That same day the organization committed $10,000 to help purchase an infant warmer at Palmerston and District Hospital.
The units come at a cost of about $35,000. This donation will be held in reserve.
