Grand Valley Polar Bear Dip is back
Chilly start – Grand Valley residents have a chilly start to the new year at the Polar Bear Dip in support of the Grand Valley Food Bank. Submitted photo

GRAND VALLEY –  The Grand Valley Lions Polar Bear Dip returns to Stuckey Park on New Year’s Day.

Registration starts at noontime with the icy plunge happening at 1pm.

All dippers must sign a waiver and have a minimum of $10 in pledges. All funds go to the Grand Valley Food Bank.

New this year: the dipper with the highest dollar value in pledges will receive a $100 gift card from Mill Creek Pub.

Spectators are asked to bring a donation for the food bank.
