Fergus man charged in residential break-in
FERGUS – A local man is charged following a residential break-in here last week.
Wellington County OPP officials say they received a report of a break and enter on St. David Street South in Fergus on Aug. 12 at about 9:30am.
Police say officers attended the address and located a man inside the residence who was placed under arrest.
Derek Daniels, 40, of Fergus, was charged with breaking and entering and being in a dwelling unlawfully. He is to appear in Guelph court on Sept. 14.
