Eramosa 4-H dairy club held its awards night

The Eramosa 4-H Dairy Club met at Jose' Noodle Factory here on Nov. 24 to award club members for their efforts during the 2009 4-H year.

The evening included re­ports from members who took part in the Canadian 4-H Clas­sic at the Royal Winter Fair, West Central Junior Show in Elora, Gencor Challenge, and the club's annual bus tour to Brant and Waterloo County.

Club awards included top quiz to Kirsten Harbin, top senior judge to Stephanie Math­ews, top junior judge was a tie between Connor French and Alycia Walker, top first year member to French, and the overall member to James Walker.

Kubota Canada and De­boer's Equipment, of Elora, sponsored the achievement day show at the Fergus Fall Fair and also awarded special jack­ets to the overall winners.

Congratulations to Kubota champion showman, James Walker and the Kubota champion calf for French.

The Eramosa 4-H Dairy Club thanks Kubota Canada and Deboer's Equipment for their sponsorship of the show and also the shows across the re­gion that they took part in.
