Eden Mills carbon-neutral community focus of NeighbourWoods talk

Neighbourly discussion – On Feb. 5, Linda Sword spoke to NeighbourWoods members about the community of Eden Mills and its ambitious project in 2007 to become Canada’s first carbon neutral community. Sword told members that task is now roughly 72% complete. The room in the Elora Centre for the Arts was hardly big enough for the crowd. Sword who is the coordinator for the project explained how the Eden Mills group accomplished its goal. She was also pleased to report that the Eden Mills Community Centre has been converted and is now completely carbon neutral.
