Crimes of the Week

Officials are seeking help with two separate incidents involving the theft of cigarettes.

FERGUS - At about 3:15pm on Oct. 25, a theft took place at a business located on Tower Street in Fergus. Stolen was a large quantity of cigarettes. The suspects are described as two males, one wearing dark sunglasses and carrying a bag.

MOUNT FOREST - At about 4:40pm on Oct. 27, a theft took place at a business located on Main Street North in Mount Forest. Stolen were several boxes of cigarettes.

The suspects are described as two males, both white. These same suspects are believed to be responsible for an attempted theft earlier the same day in Arthur.
