Wellington County is creating its first ever signage plan.
This is intended to:
– help visitors and residents easily find attractions and businesses in the county;
– encourage visitors to explore Wellington County and experience the key attractions;
– promote and enhance Wellington County’s image; and
– showcase the unique character of Wellington County.
Over the summer, Wellington County staff received input via an online survey and public information sessions.
The county is now working closely with member municipalities, recognizing that communities are at different stages with respect to signage and that each has a distinct identity.
A draft plan is expected to be ready for this fall. See the county website for more information.
