Workshops on backyard composting are planned at two county libraries next month. Participants will learn about the science of composting, how to use finished compost and receive free advice on composting at home.
Workshops will be held:
– April 14 from 10am to noon at the Fergus library; and
– April 21, from 10am to noon at the Palmerston library.
To register contact the library branch hosting the workshop on the date you’d like to attend. Seating is limited. Call the Fergus library at 519-843-1180 or the Palmerston library at 519-343-2142. There will be a draw for a free backyard composter at each workshop.
