Centre Wellington Food Bank hosted annual Christmas hamper days at Fergus sportsplex

Hamper days – The Centre Wellington Food Bank hosted its annual Christmas hamper days at the Fergus sportsplex on Dec. 11 and 12. Food bank clients could “shop” for items donated by the community and service groups. Items included food donated by Centre Wellington businesses, toys donated by the Fergus Lions Club Toy Drive, books donated by the Fergus Elora Rotary Club, shoes provided by Shoetopia and coats donated by the Grand River Agricultural Society.

Clients could also pick up their Angel program packages. This year hamper days is set to provide at least 192 hampers, supporting 470 individuals.
