CAA can help Canadians get online property insurance quotes

TORONTO – The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) announced recently the launch of its new online property insurance quote tool.
Members and non-members alike can now get online CAA property insurance quotes for homeowner’s insurance, condominium or tenant insurance for renters.
Unlike any other online property insurance quotation tool available, this one incorporates the online quoting technology of Kanetix Ltd and a combination of data, geo-coded imagery and property valuation services of iClarify. The result is a quick, easy and accurate online service for consumers looking for CAA property insurance quotes.
“At CAA Insurance we continue to look for new and improved ways to provide the most efficient service to our customers,” said Matthew Turack, vice president of CAA Insurance (Ontario).
Craig Hopkinson, director of development services at Kanetix Ltd., said, “Using technologies that maximize accuracy, ease-of-use, and ensures the proper valuation of properties, CAA has launched a consumer-facing tool that’s innovative and forward-thinking.”
In minutes, people can get a quote: fewer questions are required, and, if getting a homeowner’s quote, the guesswork involved in calculating replacement costs is eliminated.
The result is a quote that is accurate, easy to obtain and includes the right amount of coverage.
CAA offers property insurance to residents across Canada. Currently, online quotes are available to residents in Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Outside of those provinces, getting a CAA property insurance quote is a phone call away.
CAA South Central Ontario is a not-for-profit auto club offering insurance, travel, automotive care and roadside services.
There are more than 1.8 million CAA members in South Central Ontario and five million members in Canada. Visit www.caasco.com for more details.
