Belwood team take part in Terry Fox Run
Running in honour of Terry Fox - The team of MCL Salon, in Elora, and Lookout Farm, of Belwood, combined their fundraising efforts to support the Terry Fox Run on Sept. 19.
The group exceeded their fundraising goal, raising over $1,000.00. From left: Janet Konyer, Melanie Caputo, Allison Greenly and Blair Greenly took their route along sideroads near Lookout Farm in Belwood.
“People are still fighting to keep Terry’s dream alive,” Konyer said. “It’s nice to see the support coming for the research to continue.”
The group are already planning next year’s run, and have raised the bar on their fundraising campaign to $2000.00.
