Beltone Canada looking for recipients to benefit from the gift of hearing

In celebration of 75 years of giving the gift of better hearing, and in recognition of Better Hearing and Speech Month in May, Beltone Canada announced the “Beltone Canada Gift of Hearing Initiative.”

In partnership with Hear Well Be Well, nine people, who will be selected from nominations received before June 15, will be endowed with the precious gift of hearing.

Beltone Canada is asking for nominations of friends or family who will benefit from the gift of better hearing.  Nominations will include a description of their nominees’ experience with hearing loss and its effect on their lives.

Submissions will be made via mail or email, on Facebook, or in person at any of Hear Well Be Well’s nine locations, including in Elora and Mount Forest.

Detailed instructions for submitting nominations are available at www.beltone.ca and www.hearwellbewell.ca. All nominations will be reviewed by representatives at Beltone Canada and nine lucky recipients will be selected to receive a complete hearing test at each Hear Well Be Well location, and fitting of two Beltone state-of-the art hearing aids.

“Helping people hear better is what we do at Beltone,” says Beltone Canada general manager Frank Skubski, “It’s an unbelievable feeling to work for a company that was founded on an act of kindness. I’m very proud to partner with Hear Well Be Well to give back to communities across Ontario.

“Preserving the spirit of Beltone and to be a part in improving a person’s quality of life with better hearing is the reason we have been in business for over 75 years.”

“Hearing well is such a vital part of living well,” remarks John Tiede, founder and co-CEO of Hear Well Be Well. “We are so excited to join Beltone … We are both committed: to providing exceptional products and services to our clientele; to caring deeply for our associates, our clients and our communities, and to doing charitable work both locally and abroad to help as many people as we can …”
