ERIN – The Erin Fall Fair is off but the chicken dinner is on – July 31.
The Erin Agricultural Society is hosting another chicken dinner fundraiser to help meet its ongoing costs now that the fair is cancelled.
Robin Brooks, president of the homecraft division, said the group sold about 500 dinners at a similar event earlier this year.
“It’s pretty popular, so get your order in early,” she said.
Dinners include a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, a dinner roll and dessert, all for just $15 per meal.
Meals must be pre-ordered before July 27 and can be picked up on July 31, between 5pm and 6:30pm at the Erin Fairgrounds.
Cash payment is due upon pick-up.
