The Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO) has reached a tentative agreement with the government of Ontario and the school boards
The AEFO, which represents about 10,000 French-language elementary and secondary teachers from both Catholic and public school boards in Ontario, made the announcement on Sept. 16.
The terms of the agreement remain confidential until AEFO members ratify the deal, which must be done by Oct. 16.
The agreement means work-to-rule job action is averted for French-language schools.
