Last Call celebratory video screening at Public Health

Wellington-Duffering-Guelph Public Health and the Wellington Guelph Drug Strategy will host a celebratory video screening for the awareness campaign Last Call: Real Stories of Alcohol’s Impact in Guelph and Wellington County (Alcoholstories.ca) on Feb. 23 at the public health office at 160 Chancellors Way in Guelph, from 2:30 to 4pm.

Attendees will be able to view the videos from the campaign and speak with some of the individuals featured in the videos.

Information will be shared about the impact of the campaign and a facilitated conversation will be had about ways to address alcohol-related harms locally.

Last Call is supported by Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health on behalf of the Wellington Guelph Drug Strategy.

Featuring short videos highlighting real stories of people who have lived with alcoholism, health care providers, police officers, students, and more, Last Call demonstrates the impact of alcohol on the community and provides viewers with facts and resources as well as an opportunity to tell their own stories.
