“The planning for this year’s International Women’s Day celebration has included incredible local partnership and community collaboration – truly a reflection of the movements happening around the world to advance women’s wellbeing and prosperity,” said Kristel Manes, director for Innovation Guelph, and chair of the partners for International Women’s Day collective.
“Over the past six years, this event has continued to evolve, and we’re so proud that it has grown to become the premier event in our region to celebrate International Women’s Day.”
The event will also celebrate the YMCA/YWCA of Guelph’s 2018 Women of Distinction nominees.
Attendees will be able to visit a vendor marketplace from 4 to 6pm featuring 30 women entrepreneurs.
