A tight “˜knit”™ community helps to stop HIV stigma

HIV/AIDS Resources and Community Health (ARCH) is launching the fourth annual Red Scarf Project in Guelph, Wellington, Dufferin and Grey-Bruce counties.

The Red Scarf Project raises awareness to help reduce HIV/AIDS stigma by encouraging people to wear red scarves as a symbol of support during December and the end of November.

Last year ARCH distributed hundreds of red scarves to community members is hoping to build on this momentum and increase the impact.

– knitting, crocheting or sewing red scarves;
