Annual Walk for Alzheimer”™s this weekend

Lace up your running shoes and join the Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington for the 2017 Walk for Alzheimer’s.

The indoor walk will take place on Jan. 29 with four locations throughout Waterloo Wellington.

Walks are being held at:

– Old Quebec Street Shoppes in Guelph from 9 to 11am;

– Mount Forest and District Sports Complex in Mount Forest from 9 to 11am;

– Waterloo Recreation Complex in Waterloo from 1 to 3pm; and

– Cambridge Centre Mall in Cambridge from 6 to 8pm.

Individuals and teams are invited to participate, and walkers are encouraged to collect pledges.

All funds raised in any of our Walks stay in the community and support Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington.

“The walk is one of our biggest events of the year, and it’s always a great time,” said Michelle Martin, executive director.

“Last year we raised over $140,000 and this year we are hoping to top that amount.”

Online registration and fundraising is available at www.walkforalzheimers.ca.
