The Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin is launching the third annual EmployerOne Survey from Jan. 2 to 31.
The EmployerOne Survey is an online survey of local employers focused on the demand side of the local labour market.
It is designed to collect information on a range of workforce issues such as labour turnover, hard-to-fill positions, recruitment difficulties and current and future skill shortages.
Benefits
Organizers say completing the EmployerOne Survey has several benefits to employers:
– it is a helpful HR planning tool;
– it helps identify skills shortages; and
– it informs the community about their needs.
“The information this survey gathers will help us to identify priorities and tailor our initiatives to match the employment landscape.” Kelly Schafer, executive director of the Career Education Council of Guelph, Wellington Dufferin said.
“We regularly use feedback gathered in this survey to develop resources for local students, teachers and parents to keep them informed while making important decisions about skill development, future education and career pursuits.”
The 2016 EmployerOne Survey is available to employers until Jan. 31.
