Guelph will take part in the Global Climate March on Nov. 29 at 2pm in front of Old Quebec Street Mall in St. George’s Square.
The march is taking place in communities around the world and is part of the People’s Climate Movement effort to bring awareness to the need for action on climate change in advance of United Nation’s Paris climate talks from Nov. 30 to Dec. 11.
Supporters are encouraged to bring banners, family, friends and signs to the rally.
There will be live music performed by James Gordon and the Funky Mamas. MP Lloyd Longfield, Mike Schreiner, George Kelly, Steve Dyck and Sara Sayyed will all be speaking at the rally.
