Skills to decrease stress

The Stress Management and High Performance Clinic is offering a wide variety of programs for the public this fall.

The Relaxation and Stress Management Skills Training program begins on Sept. 29.  Two types of biofeedback will be included in this program for those who experience stress responses of muscle tension, anxiety, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, headaches, increased blood pressure, worrying, panic attacks, loss of focus or decreased performance.

Research-based relaxation and stress management techniques that improve health and performance are taught in this 12 session program at the University of Guelph.

The fee is $120.

A Better Sleep Program begins on Oct. 1 and programs on curbing worry and helping those with irritable bowel symptoms begin in mid-October.
